The Role

Reporting to the Head of Global Accounts, the Business Development Director is a senior sales leadership role within the Global Enterprise Top Accounts Team and strategically to support the execution of activities underpinning the Enterprise business development plan, as well as supporting the overall and regional annual business targets.

Whilst the role does not have any direct reports, youll

· Lead virtual global teams to successful outcomes

· Work in alignment with the regional leaders, sales operations and product within the top global customers, to identify and develop transformational opportunities and meet their business objectives through accelerated adoption of the companys services

· Be instrumental to create, articulate and enable the path to an innovative vision and value proposition, so that the customers C-level executives and their teams clearly realize the financial benefits and transformational outcomes to their businesses

· Drive international growth ambitions targeting accelerated profitable growth, improved efficiencies and reduction in underlying operating cost and providing wider business benefits back to the organization

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have the following experience

· 15+ years of professional sales, business development and managerial experience in the International Telco/IT services industry winning and growing business with Enterprise and OTT customers

· A strong year on year track record of delivering on-target / over-target revenue results through sales overlay, hunting new logos and business developing existing accounts

· Strong remote and global management experience and focus on consulting to customers on complex IT and telecommunication solutions

· Experience of working across/in multi-cultural environments

· Experience in developing and executing global and regional strategy

· Experience of leading multiple teams, local and remote

· Strong collaboration skills to build a people network to influence senior stakeholders and decision makers, both internal and external.

· Ability to see the big picture and gain support of a vision across a wide and diverse support base.
