Design and manufacture products for the construction sector. They are looking to appoint a Sales Co-ordinator.The Role
To receive and process customers’ orders and enquiries, either personally or by passing to the relevant department.
To promote company products to clients and to assist in the growth of sales and margin opportunities
To liaise/co-ordinate between management and team members.
To answer departmental telephones promptly and in a professional standard.
To improve your product knowledge by keeping yourself abreast of new products and product changes; to be available for product training as required
To instruct Purchasing Department of any special orders that may arise.
To liaise with Transport / Warehouse Department on all delivery requirements and relay information to clients.
To deal with customer complaints in an efficient and timely manner.
To meet customers face to face and help/advise their order requirements.
To keep records and manage an effective filing and paperwork system for the telesales team.
To promote customer and supplier liaison to broaden customer base and maximise margin potential.
To liase with suppliers to gain market intelligence.The Candidate
Will have telesales experience ideally within the construction sector. You will need to be computer literate and a good communicator. You will ideally have an interest in the construction sector and be keen to develop your product knowledge.The Package
The minimum salary offered for this position is £20,000 pa however the client will pay up to £30,000 pa to a candidate who can meet all of the key qualifications and abilities.
