Mansell Aviation Recruitment are currently seeking a Project Engineer for a prestigious client situated in Switzerland. This unique company are offering a truly remarkable job opportunity in an entrepreneurial environment with room to grow in every direction.Key Responsibilities:· Defining product level requirements within the design organisation· Coordinating and managing all technical initiatives for the aircraft system, from concept design through production and entry into service.· Responsible for the end-end technical oversight of a program.· Providing guidance and support to a team of engineering professionals.· Developing and performing overall technical planning and providing airworthiness verification support, i.e. management of design and/or technical airworthiness reviews.· Helping to resolve technical problems that would affect cost, schedule and aircraft system performance.· Working closely with engineering technical areas and other subject matter experts for the review and approval of engineering design solutions.· Providing coordination across the multi-disciplinary team.· Supporting the development of technical and product roadmaps.· Managing proto-type configuration choices and implementation /embodiment.Your qualifications:· Strong technically engineering knowledge and strong organisational and coordination skills. · Capability to support a cross-functional team.· EASA Part-21J certification.· CS 27/29 or CS25 experience, at least 5 years.· Broad knowledge of certification skills, engineering principles, manufacturing techniques and analytical skills to certify products which meet or exceed specifications and requirements.· Capability to coordinate technical requirements internally and with customers, suppliers and authorities.· Strong initiative to coordinate to work through technical, cost and schedule issues.· Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision.· Relevant experience in developing rotary or fixed wing aircrafts.· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
