The minimum salary offered for this position is £22,000 pa however the client may pay up to £25,000 pa to those candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities

The Role

Enter sales orders into the computer system from order entry and printing through to invoicing. Computer entry of purchase orders through to receipt.

Effectively prepare all documentation with regard to export orders, e.g. Letter of Credits. Give detailed instructions to the relevant freight forwarders with regard to the method of despatch and terms of shipment.

Review forwarders for Imports/Exports for service and cost.

Assist with keeping the departments filing and records updated.

Take incoming calls from customers and inform them of their shipment details.

Assist other departments and Area Sales Managers with information available from the computer system and operation files.

Dealing with incoming and outgoing post.

Support the purchasing function as directed by the Operations Manager.

Participate fully in the implementation of lean manufacturing, the continuous improvement process and maintaining ISO9001 certification.

Carry out other departmental related duties as requested.

The Candidate

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Experience of working within a similar administrative or office based role

Good general IT skills

Good time management skills with the ability to work within a busy, fast paced environment

The Package

The client is willing to pay a minimum of £22,000p.a for the role but may pay up to £25,000 p.a for a candidate whom can meet all key skills and experience.
