The Company

My client are a well-respected engineering company based in the Surrey area. Their head office is based in the Surrey area however they operate across London and surrounding counties.

The Role

The Sales & Marketing Administrator is a support role that allows a talented individual to build expertise and competencies in the area of sales and marketing and acquire knowledge of my clients market. The role covers four main areas of responsibilities:

Customer Sales and Quotations (40-60%): assist the Sales and Servicing teams with the preparation of quotations for existing and new customers in Excel and our Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP). Be involved in all aspects of preparing and pricing offers to customers including input quotes and installation jobs on our ERP system and following up with customers. Follow up with customers and monitor lead pipeline and success of quotations.

Customer Relationship Management (10%): monitor and coordinate regular customer visits from Sales and Service Team to support lead generation, keep CRM system up-to-date, and monitor existing customer equipment usage, age and possible obsolescence.

Marketing (20-30%): prepare and manage content and case studies for regular targeted e-mailing campaigns to existing and prospective customers, improve our visibility by pro-actively maintaining the companys profile on LinkedIn, and help organise marketing activities such as customer days etc.

Direct sales support (10-20%): assist our Stores Manager and Sales team to promote direct sales of parts and fittings to existing customers and build sustainable revenue stream for the company. Visit customer sites to carry out on-site stock takes and place orders once or twice per month.

Must Haves

· Good working knowledge of Excel and Word · Driven individual with attention to details and comfortable with numbers · Digitally savvy and motivated to drive e-marketing efforts with LinkedIn and email campaigns · Worked with a CRM/SAP/ERP system · Dealt with quotations in previous roles

Reward

The anticipated contract pay rate for the candidate who meets all-of-the requirements will be from £18,000 up to a maximum of £21,000 annually.
