The minimum salary offered for this position is £40,000 pa however the client may pay up to £40,000 pa to those candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities

Service Engineer

Permanent Staff | Kent

The Company

An international engineering company that specialises in the service and installation of special-purpose machinery across multiple industries.

The Role

This is a position that will require a flexible engineer. The role will include working away from home mainly throughout the U.K and Europe as and when needed. During the travel, you will be working at the main site testing and servicing equipment.

The work will include the following:

Installation, commission, service, and breakdowns on the clients machinery

Working from technical engineering drawings

Complete sire reports

Good working knowledge of PLCs from fault finding to the ability to update programs

Experience with welding

Multiskilled in both electrical and mechanical (predominantly electrical biased)

The Candidate

To apply for this role, you must

1. Be an electrically biased engineer

2. Experience in service, installation, and commissioning in special-purpose machinery

3. Hold City & Guilds 2391-52 would be highly beneficial

4. Hold the valid U.K or EU passport

5. Happy to travel throughout the U.K and Europe (Occasionally further afield)
