The minimum salary offered for this position is £32,000 pa however the client may pay up to £32,000 pa to those candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities

The Company

A market leading engineering company.

The Role

As the Application Engineer you will be field based working across the UK. You will be assisting

clients with training and applications support on CNC machines. You will also be providing technical support to the client and working closely with the sales team.

Duties

Visit dealers and client sites across the UK to provide machine set-up support and training

Supporting the sales team

Support with prove-outs and manufacturing problems liaising directly with customers

Machine demonstrations for dealers and customers

Carry out installations

Ensuring machines are installed correctly

Test the function and operation of machines to ensure they are safe

Provide dealers and customer with telephone support

Attend training course to develop and build your machine and machining knowledge

The Candidate

Experience working with CNC machinery

Strong programming experience in G Codes

Ability to plan the manufacturing processes

Ability to work on own initiative, as well as part of the team

Time management skills

The Package

The salary offered for this position is £28,000 pa to a candidate that can meet all key qualifications and abilities. Once fully trained the OTE for this role is £40,000- £45,00
