Our client is a well-established and stable specialist Manufacturing company that produce products for a range of industries. This renowned manufacturer is currently seeking a Graduate Product Marketing Executive to join their growing team.

As a Product Marketing Executive, you will be working closely with both the Marketing, R&D and Sales teams, getting involved in all stages of the product life cycle (from concept to discontinuation) for products manufactured both in-house and bought outs in order to guide on the management and accessory product portfolio in line with corporate objectives and sales and marketing plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide marketing support to global distributors, their associated Sales Account Managers, the wider Marketing Team and other internal/external stakeholders

Complete key market research activities in collaboration with the R&D and Sales teams to gain market information, market feedback and data to support product development objectives and long-term strategy

Responsible for collating research data and market insights and translating identified opportunities and trends into recommendations for new products

Monitor competitor and market activities and produce a quarterly update for distribution to colleagues and distributors

Assist the Marketing Manager in defining product requirements that meet the needs of the business, our customers and our end users

Support the commercialisation of new products by contributing to launch plans designed to ensure distributor and end user engagement, including the research into and development of promotional items to an agreed budget

Understand key aspects of brand awareness and positioning

Understand the products position in the market in terms of price and performance and to ensure they remain competitive.

Build on product messaging that sets new products apart from others in the market to give them a unique selling point

Communicate the vision and value of new products to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process

Participate in the creation of content such as case studies, videos and website copy

Participate in and present as necessary at distributor meetings and other key internal and external meetings as directed by the Marketing Manager

Develop strong relationships and have regular contact with distributors and market influencers.

Required Experience:

A degree in either a business or marketing focused field

Strong communication skills

Strong analytical and research skills

It is highly beneficial if any candidates who have gained skills in market analysis, market research and / or product marketing
