Production Technician

Due to continued growth they require an Electro/Mechanical Fitter to work in the Production Team and be responsible for the assembly of plant equipment and machinery.

This is a 6 month fixed term contract which will likely turn permanent.

Responsibilities:

The assembly of plant machinery working to drawings and specifications

Wiring of instruments, electrical motors and panels

Using manual machine tools, lathes, drills, grinding and balancing

Perform testing and test set ups

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a production technician/fitter in a manufacturing environment.

Apprenticeship trained with relevant experience and/or HNC, City & Guilds or Level 3 qualification.

Machine Tool experience is beneficial

Electrical wiring knowledge with instruments and 3 phase motors an advantage

The Package:

Our client will pay a salary of up to £25,000pa for candidates that have the necessary qualifications and experience.
