Maintenance Engineer

The minimum salary offered for this position is £36,000 pa however the client may pay up to £40,000 pa to those candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities

Our client is a well-established precision engineering company who offer strong stability in the current climate. They are seeking an experienced multi skilled maintenance engineer to join their team. they are looking to employ an electrical focused maintenance engineer to join their team.

This role follows a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 06:00 to 18:00

The Role:

Responsible for the maintenance of the equipment and repair breakdowns in line with production priorities. Carryout servicing and preventative maintenance tasks on their automated machinery.

Responsibilities:

Fault diagnosis on their range of manufacturing machinery

Working with detailed Electrical/Mechanical drawings

Identifying root causes of breakdowns

Specifying maintenance and operating procedures

Working with and adhering to maintenance procedures

Assisting the Maintenance Manager with statistical and financial records for the maintenance department

Managing liquids in the workplace including testing for bacteria

Building maintenance and workplace health and safety

Designing site specific equipment as required

Monitoring building systems and processes

Required Skills and Experience:

Happy to work their rotating shift pattern

Engineering qualifications preferred

Proven experience in a production environment

Previous responsibility providing reactive and pre-planned maintenance on automated machinery

Electrical and mechanical experience

Experience with 3 phase electrics, pneumatics and hydraulics

The Package: Offering from £38,000 to £40,000 plus a competitive benefits package
