Sales Manager - Capital Equipment

The minimum salary offered for this position is £45,000 pa however the client may pay up to £50,000 pa to those candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities

Our client is a well-established and stable specialist engineering company that manufactures highly reliable equipment used within a range of industries. They are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with Capital Equipment Export experience.

Responsibilities:

Support existing customers & dealers

Find new customers

Identify & appoint new dealers

Follow up existing & generate new enquiries

Increase market share

Raise Company profile

Carry out demonstrations

Commission equipment / train customers in basic operation and maintenance

Attend exhibitions

Typically, 1 to 2 weeks duration, 6 to 8 times per year. Minimum 12 weeks per year

Responsibilities:

A formal mechanical engineering qualification (apprenticeship, HNC/HND or degree)

5 years proven track record in export sales of capital equipment (e.g. pumps, manufacturing equipment, industrial equipment, industrial plant etc.)

5 years experience in identifying, appointing supporting overseas dealers

Business development experience

Happy to travel overseas

The Package:

Our client will pay a salary of up to £50,000 pa plus company car (or allowance), 25 days holiday, Private health care
