CNC Turner (Nights)

From £40,000 - South Benfleet, Essex

My client is looking for an experienced CNC turner who can set and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components from technical drawings.

Salary: £30000 - £33000 + 33% shift allowance

Hours: Mon-Thurs 7pm-4am Fri 7:30pm-2:30am (39 hours)

Overtime: lots of OT available 10 hours on average (Time and a third on weekdays and double time for Sundays)

Responsibilities

Setting and operating CNC lathes

Working to tight tolerances

Preforming quality checks on completed work

Clean and maintain CNC machines and all associated equipment as well as the general machining area

Able to interpret engineering drawings

Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment

Desirable

CNC milling experience

Programming experience

Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment

Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment

Computer literate

Excellent hand eye coordination
