Field Service Engineer
Our client is an industry leading pharmaceutical and biotech company based in the southeast supporting a full range of high tech equipment in sites based all over the UK and Ireland. They are looking to build their team after a period of continued growth.The RoleOur client is seeking to recruit an experienced Field Operations Engineer to assist in the delivery of the following activities across their equipment range; On-site technical assistance, root cause analysis, preventative maintenance, calibration, installation assistance, thermal validation and training to the high standards expected by our clients.The role will require extensive travel, the principal area of work will be within the Ireland between Dublin and Arklow but there will be requirements for travel to the UK and occasionally travel to Scandinavia and Italy as required.Qualities and Qualifications RequiredTo provide technical assistance, preventative maintenance and calibration to a consistent high standardTo provide fault rectification and root cause analysis on equipment suppliedRespond to requests for service within SLA or company targets, restoring the client equipment tooperational level as requiredProvide FAT support where requiredProvide installation, commissioning and IQ/OQ support for new equipment and special projectsProvide thermal validation services on our clients sitesParticipate in Design QualificationManagement of documentation, Service, Calibration, Technical reports to GDP requirementsSupport and Mentor Trainee Operations EngineersWork within the Legislative and Companys Environmental, Quality and Health and Safety policies andcomply with all client and company quality, environmental and HSE requirementsHave Field Operations / Field Service experienceHave Excellent Mechanical & Electrical engineering skillsBe Computer literateHave a flexible and adaptive attitudeBe able to work on own initiativeBe able to work under pressureBe client focusedHave Exceptional communication skillsHave a full and clean driving licenceHold a valid passport for travel within EuropeQualities and Qualifications DesiredHealth and safety knowledge would be an advantageKnowledge of sterile process technology and pharmaceutical industry would be UsefulCalibration experience would be beneficialAn engineering or technology qualification (degree or equivalent)Bonus structureOvernight stay bonus starting at £20 going up day by day up to a cap of £100Annual company bonusAdditional performance bonus (site premium bonus)Can expect to earn in bonuses anywhere between 6% to 20% of basic salaryIf you are intrested in applying for this role please email me your CV at hayden@mansell.co.uk
