A well-established calls systems company that are looking for a Service Engineer to join the team
The Role
Installation and service of radio paging and radio speech & data equipment at UK customer sites
Provide expert, impeccable installation, expert service, customer training and advice with the Company’s products
Attend monthly training on all products including paging, two-way radios, transmitters, aerials and GEN2 Cloud as well as new products when introduced
Provide second-line customer support when Customer Service team need to escalate
Support the pre-sale sales team with site surveys
Support post-installation / commissioning documentation for CRM
Role Location: Location of client sites for this job will be primarily south of Birmingham, bounded by the M1, M4, M5 and M6. Candidates must live within this broad geographical location and may be asked to attend jobs outside of this area from time to time.
The Candidate
Excellent understanding and hands-on capability of installation of low voltage electrical systems.
Understanding of radio communication systems and IT networking.
Experience working in a field service role.
Strong PC skills including all Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent communication skills to build relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
Experience from broadband, alarm systems or security would be beneficial
ECS / CSCS Card would be desirable
The Package
The salary offered for this position is £32,000- £42,000 to a candidate who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
