My client is seeking a motivated Junior Engineer with an engineering qualification to join the team.


The Role
Operate manual lathes, milling machines, pillar drills, and jig borers to produce high-precision components.
Perform assembly work and soldering tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
Maintain and ensure the smooth operation of mechanical tools and equipment.
Participate in repetitive tasks with the opportunity to diversify as skills grow.
Adhere to manufacturing techniques to achieve the required precision in manufacturing.
Contribute to the production of test probes used by leading universities, multinational electronics companies, and space exploration firms.

The Candidate
Basic engineering qualification.
Practical experience using manual lathes, mills, pillar drills, and borers.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Enthusiasm for mechanical engineering and a keen interest in precision manufacturing.

The Package
The salary offered for this position is £18,000- £25,000 to candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
