Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

The Company
A FMCG company going through a strong growth period looking for a Multiskilled Engineer to join the maintenance team.

The Role
• Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical and electrical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
• Assisting the engineering manager in general day-to-day tasks
• Working between three sites (within 5/10 miles)
• Locates sources of problems by observing devices in operation.
• Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
• Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
• Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders.
• Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
• Provides maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

The Candidate
1. Experienced multi skilled maintenance engineer
2. Able to fault find on PLCs
3. Background from manufacturing/production/automated environment
4. An engineering qualification would be beneficial
5. Able to drive
6. 18th edition wiring regulation would be beneficial

Salary
The salary offered for this position is £30,000- £40,000pa to a candidate who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
