A well-established engineering company looking for a Process Engineer to join the teams.
Responsibilities
Collaborating with the Sales team to develop the technical components of Tenders involves several key tasks. These include designing equipment processes, reviewing and ensuring compliance with customer specifications, generating accurate bills of materials, and guaranteeing the technical integrity of quotations for primary equipment used in cost estimates.
Engaging with clients and sub-vendors is essential throughout the tender process, from initial contact to post-submission. This involves attending sales clarification meetings and maintaining follow-up communication with clients during contract negotiations.
Generating essential documents
Offering process engineering assistance to Contracts/Engineering departments by addressing client inquiries, participating in meetings, integrating customer feedback, and aiding in commissioning/troubleshooting processes.
Playing a role in the development of innovative products/processes.
Contributing to the enhancement of computer tools for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
A minimum of a good degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline, preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
Demonstrated proficiency in analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
Capability to apply engineering expertise across various domains including heat transfer, fluid dynamics, combustion, pressure part design, automation and control, emissions control, materials selection, and mechanical strength calculations.
Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts clearly to international clients, instilling confidence.
Proficient in heat transfer principles.
Flexibility for travel.
Capacity to think strategically both technically and commercially.
The Package
The salary offered for this position is £30,000- £50,000 to a candidate who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
