Quality Inspector

A successful candidate would have the opportunity to work for a fast-growing company, in a modern workshop environment with the latest machine tools and would need to be able to work effectively as a team member and have strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
• Inspection of precision machined components, working to tight tolerances. First off and final inspections
• Utilising CMM, micrometers, height gauges, callipers etc
• Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to customer requirements, where required
• Assisting customer & internal NCR process and investigating the causes of any failures to prevent recurrence
• The calibration of inspection, measuring and test equipment in line with company procedures
• Supporting internal auditors when carrying out systems and process audits

Required experience:
• 3 years minimum experience.
• Proficient in GD&T and Technical Drawings.
• Effective in communication and problem solving.
• Working knowledge of ISO9001
• CMM experience
• Training available where necessary on inspection equipment

Salary
£14- £18 per hour on a 40 hour week
