The Company

A leading manufacturer is seeking a Sales Administrator to join their team and contribute to their continued success.



 



The Role

As a Sales and Marketing Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the sales and marketing functions through various administrative and customer-focused tasks. This position offers an excellent foundation for someone interested in growing into a sales-focused career, providing hands-on experience with sales operations and marketing support.



You’ll thrive in this dynamic and fast-paced environment, where managing tight deadlines and working under pressure is part of the day-to-day excitement. Initiative and a proactive approach will be key to success in this role.



 



Key Responsibilities:




  • Processing customer orders, ensuring accuracy in details and pricing according to agreed terms.

  • Updating and maintaining CRM customer records with relevant information.

  • Coordinating with the production team on delivery schedules.

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customer communications, ensuring timely responses and assisting the Sales Manager in managing accounts.

  • Overseeing the progress of orders, including arranging dispatch.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships across the company and with external stakeholders.

  • Preparing and following up on quotations.

  • Producing basic costings for repeat parts.

  • Managing the online shop for stock products.



 



The Candidate

Previous experience in a sales administration role.



A background in engineering or manufacturing (preferred but not essential).



Stable career history.



A confident telephone manner and excellent customer service skills.



Strong communication abilities and attention to detail.



Good GCSE results in English and Maths.



 



The Package

The salary for this position £23,000–£32,000 (depending on experience), plus a 25% bonus for candidates who meet all key qualifications and competencies.
