SMT Technician

The Company
A well-established electronic manufacturer going through a strong growth period that is looking for SMT Technicians to help the development.

The Role
Set up and run SMT lines to specified efficiency and process quality levels
Ensure the product meets IPC 610 to the specified class
Input and preparation of process control documentation
Ensure you are familiar with the department’s output production targets
Complete all necessary paperwork and update databases to meet the requirements of the quality management system
Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process
Maintain the highest level of workmanship and product standards, and ensure no scrap is created

The Candidate
Experience in running pick and place machines
Previous experience in package creation would be beneficial
Professional manner with excellent internal customer service skills
Good understanding of English including verbal and written communication skills

The Package
The salary offered for this position is £22,000- £28,000 plus benefits and a bonus per annum to a candidate who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
