Stores Operative

The Company

A market leading engineering company that are looking for a Stores Operative to join the team.



The Role

General Stores Operative – to assist Despatch Operative inc international freight packing and general stores/warehousing duties.

Duties:

Assist packing for national/international freight.

Assist collection and delivery of goods off site.

Assist all areas of Stores Department as necessary, including;

Process stock shortage tickets

Assist Goods inwards, booking in and warehousing.

Assist in dealing with 3rd party contractors.

Have some understanding of workshop environment.

Keep the work area clean and tidy.

Use of computerised Stock Management System.

Liaison with other departments

Comply with Company Health and Safety procedures

Comply with Company Systems and procedures



The Candidate

Forklift experience

1. Good communication skills

2. Driving license preferred

3. Experience working in a warehouse environment



The Package

The salary offered for this position is £20,000- £23,000 depending on whether a candidate can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
