A precision engineering company that is actively seeking a Brake Press Setter to join the workshop


The Role
Operate press brakes, guillotines, and other machinery to fabricate components accurately and efficiently.

Read and interpret detailed in-house and customer drawings to ensure precise fabrication.

Work with various materials, including Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum, to produce high-quality components.

Demonstrate problem-solving skills to address any challenges that arise during fabrication processes.

Work effectively under pressure to meet project deadlines and production targets.

Maintain a strong work ethic in a busy and varied workshop environment.

Communicate effectively with team members and integrate seamlessly into a small team.


The Candidate
Proven experience as a Fabricator in a workshop environment.

Proficiency in operating press brakes, guillotines, and other relevant machinery.

Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings accurately.

Experience working with Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum materials.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.

Excellent work ethic and ability to adapt to a busy and varied workshop environment.

Good communication skills and the capability to work collaboratively in a small team




The Package
The salary offered for this position is £12 to £16 plus overtime and a bonus to a candidate that can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
