Our client is a well-established provider of engineering solutions to a variety of industries including Aerospace, Medical, Rail and Manufacturing. The business is currently growing and is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their team to look after some key accounts and develop business.


The Role:
The successful candidate will be required to help our customers’ engineers learn how to capitalise on the products offered by understanding their technical needs and explaining the functions and features of products they can supply.
Responsibilities:
Conduct meetings with customers’ design engineers to understand their requirements and offer competitive solutions.
Position products into new and existing customer designs.
Attend relevant trade shows as both a visitor and exhibitor.
Continuously learn about supported franchises and products.
Provide post-sales support to your customers to maximise exploitation and to encourage repeat business.


The Candidate:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales
Experienced in selling products to engineering companies – ideally in Automotive, Aerospace, Defence, Rail, Marine, Medical
Strong communication skills and confident at dealing with a variety of clients
Have a strong desire to succeed in satisfying customer technical needs and provide technical solutions.
Have great interpersonal skills and can build constructive relationships.


The Package:
Offering from £30,000 to £35,000 basic plus bonus and a competitive benefits package.
