Design Engineer

The Company
Designs and manufactures electro-mechanical products.

The Role
An exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a reputable business within the engineering sector.
You will be designing various products and components predominantly made from sheet metal.
Create detailed designs, in line with company procedures, project timescales and the cost estimates that can be profitably manufactured
To ensure that new products are ‘designed for manufacture’ by using simultaneous Engineering techniques and working closely with a cross-functional teams

The Candidate
Minimum of 3 years design experience
You will be ideally educated to a degree level in a mechanical engineering discipline.
You must have experience of designing sheet metal components and have the ability to perform hand calculations.
You will ideally have electro mechanical design experience using Pro-Engineer or other design software.

The Package
Paying a basic salary from £28K up to £38K depending on experience.
