The Company
A world-class engineering company looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join the growing team.
The Role and Duties
My client is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to assist with the production of new designs and modifications to existing designs by producing accurate technical drawings.
In this role, you will be responsible for electrical design work, producing technical drawings and schematics, and collaborating with various departments, including production, purchasing, and sales. You will also be involved in testing equipment and quality assurance.
• Create and modify designs using 3D AutoCAD.
• Work on electrical and pneumatic design projects.
• Lead a small team of electricians.
• Assist with PLC programming (training provided).
The Candidate
Hold an engineering qualification
A background in mechanical or electrical design
Experience in AutoCAD or SolidWorks
Knowledge of PLCs would be beneficial
Electronic engineering knowledge would be advantageous
The Package
The salary offered for this position is £30,000 up to £40,000 for a candidate that can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
