This is a hands-on testing role, ensuring every unit that leaves the facility meets the highest standards. You’ll be working on cutting-edge electrical systems used in safety-critical environments, from component level to complete suite testing.Key Responsibilities:Perform testing on AC/DC switchgear and panelsValidate emergency shutdown systems and PLC-based controlsConduct insulation resistance, performance, and power frequency testingEnsure compliance with technical specs and industry standardsGenerate reports and recommend corrective actionsSupport type testing and external certification processesContribute to maintenance planning and technical investigationsMaintain ISO 9001 documentation and QA processesThe CandidateEssential:Level 2/3 qualification in an electrical disciplineExperience testing three-phase systems and interpreting electrical drawingsStrong knowledge of fault finding, diagnostics, and safety standardsDesirable:Level 4/5 qualification or Degree in Electrical Engineering18th Edition, ECITB TEM06, or relevant industry certificationsPLC systems experience The PackageOffering up to £44k plus competitive benefits.
