Electro Mechanical Fitter

Our client is a well-established engineering company that manufactures bespoke equipment used within a variety of industries. Seeking an experienced Electro Mechanical Fitter to join their team.


The Role:
Building of new products, prototypes and special bespoke projects.
This may involve developing manufacturing processes, wiring looms, piping routes and other standard methods for particular manufacturing requirements, in regard to specific products.
You will be building sub-assemblies or complete systems to drawings and build procedures. The work typically requires the following skills:
Wiring including:-
19” Rack systems.
Wiring looms using tri-rated cables
Wiring of Control Units and interface boxes.
Mechanical assembly.
Pre-testing of some assemblies prior to Final Test.



The Candidate:
Engineering qualifications are preferred
Candidates will need to have previous experience of electrical and mechanical fitting.
Proven experience in a production environment
Have good verbal and written English communication skills.
Have a high attention to detail and be organised.
Be flexible, adaptable and be willing to help out in other disciplines if the need arises.


The Package:
Offering of salaries up to £30,000 plus a competitive benefits package.
