The Role
To take ownership of all new quotes that have been ordered.
To make contact with the customer once order is placed.
Liaising with the customer on what information is still required to be confirmed.
Liaising with internal departments such as production to establish correct details and lead-times for delivery.
Obtaining the best delivery date or checking if the required delivery date requested is achievable.
Communicate directly with the customer if/when the project details are revised.
Assessing whether the revised information requires an internal alteration to job sheets and/or price.
Input order data on to the quote bank, and ensure information is kept up to date and accurate.
To act as the main point of contact for all the Estimators.
To be responsible for preparing the Estimators orders
Assist with quoting of projects.
Assist with revisions for projects quoted by others.
Assist Estimating Manager with incoming phone calls into the department.
To work closely with Estimators.
The Candidate
Experience working in an administrative role
Strong knowledge of Excel
Good on computers
Strong communication skills
Able to work well in a team
The Package
Offering from £20,000 to £24,500 dependant on skills and experience.
