A well-established manufacturer looking for a Production Manager to join the team


The Role
To provide necessary support to ensure all operational activities are undertaken safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Duties:
Programming machinery for production tasks.

Agreeing timescales for production and delivery.

Determining and maintaining quality assurance standards.

Overseeing production processes to ensure efficiency and quality.

Supervising and managing production workers.

Ensuring stock levels are recorded and maintained.

Confirming delivery dates and providing updates as doors/items move through production.

Conducting weekly stock takes.

Utilising Computer Aided Design (CAD) for production planning and design.

Implementing and adhering to health and safety protocols.

Performing weekly air compressor checks.

Maintaining manual production systems.

Ensuring forklift checks are being carried out regularly.


The Candidate
Experience managing production lines and teams 
Able to program CNC machines
Strong management/team-leading skills
Positive engagement with continuous improvement actives
Good safety management skills
Initiative to ensure productivity
Good communication skills.
Ability to work to targets.

 
The Package
The salary offered for this position is £45,000- £52,000 candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities
