Our client is a well-established high volume Manufacturing company who offer strong stability in the current climate. Due to recent growth, they are looking to employ an electrical focused maintenance engineer to join their team.
This role follows the following weekly rotating shift patterns 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00.
The Role:
Responsible for the maintenance of the equipment and repair breakdowns in line with production priorities. Carryout servicing and preventative maintenance tasks on their automated machinery.
Responsibilities:
Ensure day to day maintenance is carried out on their manufacturing and ancillary equipment.
Deal with breakdowns as and when they arise and in line with production priorities.
Ensure all ancillary equipment is kept in safe working order, carrying out maintenance / repairs as required.
Ensure compliance with insurance and health & safety regulations.
Support the testing of the fire alarm on a regular basis and records kept.
Support the services of following equipment when required.
Carry out responsibilities listed under Fire Procedure.
Maintain the clean room facilities in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
Support in the installation of new equipment and services.
Required Skills and Experience:
Happy to work a rotating shift pattern
Engineering qualifications is preferred
Proven experience in a production environment
Previous responsibility providing reactive and pre-planned maintenance on automated machinery
Electrical and mechanical experience
Must be a hands-on, adaptable problem solving engineer
The Package: Offering from £36,000 to £40,000 plus a competitive benefits package
