£36,000 – £41,000 per year + Private Medical + Private Dental + Bonus + 25 days holidayA leading manufacturer of advanced engineering solutions, supplying to sectors including marine, rail, and power, is looking for an experienced Manual Machinist to join their skilled team. You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality components using a range of manual machining processes, ensuring all work meets precise specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate manual milling and turning machines to produce precision components.Work with drilling, boring, and grinding machines where required.Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce parts to the correct dimensions and tolerances.Inspect completed parts using measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean and safe.Follow all company processes and procedures to maintain consistent quality standards.Accurately complete job documentation and maintain production records.Skills & Experience RequiredProven experience as a manual machinist in a manufacturing or engineering environment.Skilled in milling and turning, with additional experience in drilling, boring, and grinding machines highly desirable.Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Commitment to health and safety practices in the workplace.The Package£36,000 – £41,000 per year (dependent on experience)Private medical and dental cover Annual bonus 25 days holiday plus bank holiday
