Manufacturing Technician

The Company



Our West Sussex based client is a leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of specialist measuring products.



The Role



The successful candidate will be required to build electro/mechanical products and follow quality procedures and work instructions.



1) To assemble mechanical and electro mechanic products for force and torque testing equipment for products following manufacturing procedures and work instructions.

2) To make up various types of sub-assemblies, basic looms and cables for later use in stand and instrumentation builds.

3) To advise the Quality Department on any quality issues arising from stand and gauge build if components do not fit together as expected.

4) To test and identify as tested all production items including PCB assemblies, cables, looms and fully built items using test procedures and equipment relevant to each job.







The Candidate



Proven experience in a similar position and an interest in engineering/manufacturing.

Physically fit, and able to loft and carry components and products.

Full clean driving licence/transport required due to the remote location of the site.
