Graduate Mechanical Engineer

The Company
A well-established electromechanical manufacturer.

The Role
The main purpose of the role is to carry out all duties of a mechanical engineer within the engineering team. Provide technical support and quotations to customers.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out product related R&D.
3D CAD (Solidworks).
Improving and automating production processes.
Design and build of machinery.
Discuss and solve complex problems with customers and suppliers.
Providing technical support to the sales team and external customers, including preparation of quotes.
Producing process and product documentation / datasheets.
Research and selection of materials used in products.
Commission and maintain plant and systems.

The Candidate
1. Mechanical engineering degree or similar
2. Confident using Solidworks
3. Basic understanding of electrical engineering
4. Happy speaking to customers on a daily basis

The Package
The salary offered for this position is £24,000- £40,000pa to a candidate that can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
