The Role
The Product Cyber Security Architect will lead the development, implementation, and coordination of best practices in Product Security across the organisation. The Architect will work with, guide, and lead cross-functional teams from design, factory operations, supply chain, and customer-facing groups as they adopt secure development lifecycle processes, build and enhance supporting infrastructure, and implement security features on our products as demanded by our customers and served markets.
Essential responsibilities:
Develops and enhances Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes applicable to power conversion, and complementary products, for adoption globally across the organization
Works with IT and factory operations to enhance infrastructure in support of product security needs
Considers global impact of implementations, processes, and infrastructure to facilitate continued leverage and maturing of Product Cyber Security systems
Advises design, and customer-facing teams, on Product Cyber Security issues during the development of new platforms and products
Drives the adoption of Product Cyber Security processes and best practices across the company
Trains teams on Product Cyber Security awareness, best practices, and accompanying processes
Keeps abreast of new standards, regulations, and customer requirements, affecting Product Cyber Security. Communicates these developments, with recommendations, to internal stakeholders.

The Candidate
A background in product cyber security for products utilizing embedded firmware is essential
Solid knowledge of product cyber security concepts, including but not limited to threat modelling, secure key infrastructure, and security frameworks
Experience implementing or working within a Secure Development Lifecycle environment
Strong familiarity with embedded firmware, and hardware that uses embedded firmware
Solid knowledge of product cyber security industry standards and regulations
Ability to communicate with, and influence, peers and management
Ability to work, and be effective, in a global organization
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Solid written and verbal skills
