Production Fitter

Our West Sussex based client is a specialist in the design and manufacture of equipment and machinery which is used in the Process industries.
Due to continued growth they require an Production Fitter to work in the Production Team and be responsible for the assembly of equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities:
The assembly of plant machinery working to drawings and specifications
Wiring of instruments, electrical motors and panels
Using manual machine tools, lathes, drills, grinding and balancing (highly beneficial)
Perform testing and test set ups

Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a production technician/fitter in a manufacturing environment.
Ideally an engineering qualification such as HNC, City & Guilds, Level 3 qualification etc
Ability to follow work instructions and engineering drawings
Machine Tool experience is beneficial, not compulsory

The Package:
Our client will pay a salary of up to £30,000 pa for candidates that have the necessary qualifications and experience.
