Sales Support Engineer

The company:
Hutchinson Stop-choc Ltd is a leading industrial, aerospace and defence manufacturing company supplying high technology anti-vibration & shock isolation mountings, illuminated aircraft cockpit instrument panels & display systems, and light weight avionics racking, to a wide range of customers and markets across the globe.

The position:
We are currently looking for a Sales Support Engineer to strengthen our internal sales team and provide support for the external sales and customers from our new facility in Reading RG6 1AZ.

The role:
Responsibilities will include calculation costs and preparation of quotations, technical evaluation of customer requirements, product selection and preparation of technical proposals. Following training and development the successful candidate will be working with in-house analysis software and technical data to support product selection and prepare technical reports for submission to customers.

Ideal Requirements:
• Qualified mechanical engineer.
• Positive and enthusiastic approach to work.
• Experience in technical sales support would be beneficial.
• An understanding of vibration would also be useful although training will be provided.
