The Role
Working as hands on Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing all site asses and proactively participating in safety improvements, costs reductions and process efficiency initiatives.
You will be expected to lead by example and ensure the timely maintenance and repair of all plant and equipment on site.
Your main driver will be to ensure that machines are available to meet production needs in as quickly as possible timeframe.
You will ensure that as a company we adhere to safety working practices internally as well as sub-contractor management.
You will have responsibility for the mentoring and development of our apprentice engineer.
The Candidate
Working experience of mechanical and electrical maintenance manufacturing/production.
Knowledge of 3 phase motor and control systems would be desirable.
Able to prioritise workload.
Good working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Mechanical/Electrical fault finding and analysis skills.
Be a good problem solver and have a flexible approach to working hours to suit the needs of the business.

The Package
The salary offered for this position is £30,000- £45,000 depending on experience plus bonus to a candidate that can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
