The RoleWe are looking for an In-House Service Engineer to join an established after-sales service team based on-site in Didcot. This is a fully in-house position focused on the diagnosis, repair, and testing of electronic products returned from customers.The role involves detailed fault-finding work, including board and component-level repair, within a workshop environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair electronic products in an in-house workshopFault-find down to board and component levelRead and interpret electronic schematics and technical documentationCarry out functional testing and quality checks post-repairAccurately log faults, repairs, and parts usedWork closely with the wider after-sales and technical teamsThe CandidateBackground in electronics or electrical engineeringStrong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilityComfortable working to board and component levelAble to read and understand electronic schematicsRelevant qualifications are beneficial but not essentialHands-on, methodical, and detail-oriented approachThe PackageSalary between £30,000 – £35,000 depending on skills and experience.Ongoing training and development opportunitiesMonday–Friday working hours (9am–5pm)Stable position within a specialist technical environmentLong-term opportunity within a supportive team
