The Role
As an Electro-Mechanical Service Engineer / Installations Engineer you will be responsible for all UK based customer requirements (electrical engineering & mechanical engineering) from service, commissioning, breakdowns through to installations covering a variety of bespoke production machinery
This is a multi-skilled position covering both Electrical (Biased) and Mechanical Engineering
Your main responsibilities include:
Visiting customer sites across the UK and occasionally abroad for: Installations, Commissioning, Service and Breakdowns.
Fault-Finding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) such as: Siemens S5/S7, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Omron etc.
Working to Method Statements and General Assembly Drawings
Producing detailed site reports
Sample System Maintenance
Materials & Machinery Testing in the Test Lab.
Fault finding
The Candidate
Successful candidates must have strong knowledge and industrial experience of both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Disciplines.
Apprentice trained or fully qualified + experience in a similar field engineer or static engineer position.
Experience Servicing, Commissioning, Maintenance, Repair, or Installation of
Special purpose machinery such as: FMCG, Food, Bottling, Chemical, Packaging, Printing, Process, Mechanical Handling, Conveyors etc.
Basic fault finding of PLCs such as: Siemens S5/S7, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley etc.
Distinct Advantages:
Programming / Fault Finding HMI’s
Welding Abilities (MIG, TIG, ARC etc.)
Previous experience setting up and being involved in sales exhibits.
Driving licenses: (Engineers already on site but logistically licenses of the following would be beneficial) A Forklift Truck License, Scissor Platform License and/or Long Reach Boom License
The Package
£30-40,000 per annum (Basic Salary) + Overtime
