The Role
You will be highly skilled in product soldering to the relevant IPC standard always ensuring quality workmanship using mostly conventional (through hole) components although there will be occasional work with surface mount components.

You must be confident carrying out hand soldering to PCB's up to and including IPC Class 3 standard with conventional / through hole components. A current IPC certification would be a distinct advantage.

The Candidate
1. Experience of soldering within an electronics environment
2. Able to follow customer drawings
3. Knowledge of colour codes for leaded resistors


Desirable Skills
Previous experience of wire modifications
Previous experience in carrying out SMT and Conventional rework
Current IPC 610 certification

The Package
The salary offered for this position is £21,840- £24,000 to a candidate that can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
