Workshop Engineer

A well-established Fabrication company that serves a number of regulated industries.
They are currently seeking 2 Workshop Engineers that have experience in Sheet Metal / Fabrication work.


The Role:
Working in a busy workshop environment using a range of hand tools such brake press, welding, guillotine, drills, bandsaws
Reading technical drawings
Supporting the fabrication process, learning the process within a metal fabrication environment
Maintaining the highest quality whilst working to productivity targets
Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
Providing support to the wider team as required
Carrying out Quality Control checks as and when required
Working to all health and safety rules and regulations


The Candidate:
Experience with fine limit sheet metal
Ability to use one of the following - brake press, welding, guillotine, drills, bandsaws
Skills in folding, cutting and punching sheet metal
Any welding skills is highly beneficial
Ability to read engineering drawings and follow work instructions


The Package:
Offering up to £31,200 per hour plus unlimited overtime and flexible working hours
